Review Gotham's new District Attorney has been elected. His name is Harvey Dent, and he has a radical new agenda that threatens to take down Gotham's organized crime underworld once and for all with an iron fist. Meanwhile, Batman thinks he might have found a lead to The Joker thanks to Wayne Enterprises' dealings with a shady Chinese banker, and that takes Batman and Alfred to Hong Kong. The Joker has no rules, but Batman has only one, and the Joker aims to make Batman break his only rule. Just finished the trilogy. I still can't believe how have I not seen this trilogy sooner. The writing for this version of Joker was just freaking orgasmic. His logic is sound, he knows exactly what to say to drive a man into madness; exactly what would enrage. I love both Nicholson and Ledgers versions for their drastically different and perfectly played approaches. Hans Zimmer is a true genius. People say that composers like John Williams are better. But cmon, take a listen at 1:00 and then at 27:00. Now's that genius. I love this music. Perfectly captures the image of Batman. No other composer could've pulled this off.
